ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal has been conferred with a lifetime achievement medal of honour by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation at the 6th Vice Chancellors Forum of Universities in the Islamic World, held in Rabat, Morocco.

The honour recognises Mr Iqbal’s leadership and contributions to human capital development, higher education reform, and technological innovation, according to a statement issued on Monday.

“This recognition belongs to every young mind who dares to dream, every teacher who lights the way, and every institution that believes in the power of transformation. Let Allama Iqbal’s vision of a self-reliant, enlightened Muslim society be the compass that guides our collective future,” Mr Iqbal said.
