SAHIWAL, May 11: The persistent heat wave claimed six more lives in Sahiwal and Kasur districts on Thursday. In Sahiwal, Salma, Rana Nisar and Raja Ahmad fell prey to the scorching heat, while four children — Obaidullah, Awais, Umair and Zafar — fainted while returning from school. They were admitted to the DHQ Hospital.

Kasur: Mohammad Ali, Sharif and Ayesha Bibi died of heat stroke whereas dozens of others fainted.
