KARACHI: Two more tremors jolted parts of the city on Friday, raising the tally of low-intensity earthquakes to 49 since June 1.

According to the data available with the seismic centre of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the first tremor of 2.8 magnitude occurred at 5:28pm with its epicenter located 13km southeast of Korangi, at a depth of 4km.

The second one of 2.6 magnitude hit at 7:31pm with its epicenter located 3km southwest of Malir, at a depth of 15km.
