GUJRANWALA, May 9: The entire staff of a judicial court was transferred by the district and sessions judge on corruption charges here on Tuesday. Reports said Saghir Ahmad of Hashmi Colony moved the court of D&SJ Mazhar Husain through a petition, pleading that the entire staff of the special judicial magistrate of the tehsil municipal administration was involved in corruption.

The court conducted an inquiry and found the staff guilty. It ordered transfer of the entire staff to their parent departments, and asked the Anti-Corruption Estab-lishment to take action against its ASI, Qazi Riffat. Those transferred are Ghulam Rasool, Anwar, Iqbal, Ashiq and Anjum. The court also asked the TMA to provide new staff to the judicial court.
