BAHAWALPUR, May 8: Federal Religious Affairs Minister Ijazul Haq has described the ARD’s charter of democracy to be signed by Mian Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto in London on May 14, as a charter of ‘loot and plunder’ aimed at safeguarding their corruption.

Criticising the ARD at a press conference at the residence of PML leader Javed Khan Daulatzai here on Monday, he said the so-called democracy charter was a part of London plan which would be a conspiracy against Pakistan.

The minister said if the former premiers were sincere to Pakistanis, they should return and prepare such plans while sitting among their countrymen.

He asked Benazir Bhutto to return, live amongst her countrymen and serve Pakistan. He said she should not be apprehensive of jail and should not return merely for power.
