French foreign minister Jean-Noel Barrot has responded to Israel’s accusation that European countries are inciting hatred by saying France is “indefectibly attached to the security of Israel”, Al Jazeera reports.
“Accusing of encouraging anti-Semitism or [supporting] Hamas whoever defends the two-state solution is absurd and slanderous,” Barrot said in a statement posted on X.
Barrot has also said France supports Hamas being “disarmed and permanently excluded from the political future of Gaza”.
