TOBA TEK SINGH: The Faisalabad Chenab Club administration has terminated the membership of a judicial officer and a private citizen.

In a letter, club secretary Asghar Ali wrote to both judicial officer Munir Hussain Gill and citizen Ziaullah Khan that the inquiry committee, after adopting the procedure and providing them sufficient opportunity, had submitted its report wherein the charges of misconduct and indiscipline leveled against them in the charge sheet had been proved.

It said they had been found guilty of gross misconduct. He also said that on the recommendation of the inquiry committee, the competent authority has terminated their membership. He wrote that their egregious behaviour involving derogatory language and physical violence has led to their immediate and permanent expulsion from the club.

This decision is nonnegotiable and final. He said the incident captured on video and widely circulated on social media has caused irreparable harm to the club’s reputation and values, and your actions are a blatant disregard for the rules and code of conduct.

The secretary said your entry and the entry of your family members into the club are strictly prohibited, neither as members nor in the capacity of guests, and you are barred from lifetime membership in the club.
