LARKANA, May 6: A six-member delegation of Pakistan People’s Party led by Makhdoom Amin Fahim would leave for India on May 8 on a two-day official visit, sources said on Saturday.
The Indian government had extended an invitation to the PPP leadership for the visit, the sources said.
The delegation would meet Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister Vajpayee and other leaders during their visit.
According to sources, the delegation would comprise General Secretary PPP Raja Parvez Asharaf, leaders of opposition in Sindh and Punjab Assemblies, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Qasim Zia, MNA Ms Shereen Rehman and Senator Anwar Baig.
