ISLAMABAD, May 6: Hoteliers and caterers of the federal capital are facing a tough time due to the ban on serving of meals at wedding functions.

This was stated by Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Association General Secretary Sarfraz Haider in a meeting with the officials of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Saturday.

He said if the ban continued the people associated with such businesses would be assassinated economically.

Mr Haider said hospitality was a part of our culture, adding that there was a need to allow single-dish meals at marriage functions.
