European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas welcomed the ceasefire between Pakistan and India, according to a post on X by the Foreign Office (FO).

“Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar spoke with the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the Commission Kaja Kallas, who welcomed the ceasefire understanding between Pakistan and India,” the FO wrote.

The ministry added that Dar “reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to fostering peace, stability, and dialogue in the region.”
