The National Assembly approved a motion to suspend its regular agenda for the May 9 session to further discuss the escalation between India and Pakistan, the Associated Press of Pakistan reports.
The motion, moved by PPP lawmaker Ijaz Jakhrani, was unanimously approved.
Jakhrani sought permission to set aside the routine proceedings of the upcoming session in light of the current national security concerns.
