RAWALPINDI: A grand ceremony was held to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for promoting mutual cooperation between Rawalpindi Arts Council, Information and Culture Department, Government of Punjab, and Center for Culture and Development.

This agreement has been signed between the two institutions to promote joint efforts for the promotion of culture, fine arts, research, training and public awareness.

The objective of this MoU is to highlight the diverse cultural heritage of Pakistan, ensure the welfare of artists, and strengthen cultural relations at the local and international levels.

The ceremony was attended by Rawalpindi Arts Council Director Sajjad Hussain, Deputy Director Muhammad Shakoor, Assistant Director Sarfaraz Khan, Assistant Director Waqar Ali, Gandhara Resource Center Pakistan Director Sarah Mahmood, Program Coordinator Riaz Ahmed, representatives.

Both institutions described this agreement as a milestone for future joint activities, which will not only promote art and culture but will also help in raising cultural awareness among the younger generation.

Under the MoU, workshops, seminars, cultural fairs, art exhibitions, and other educational and research activities will be organised so that both institutions can utilize their professional expertise and resources to promote mutual interests.

This collaboration is a manifestation of the commitment of both institutions to take Pakistan towards a bright future in the fields of art, culture, and development.
