Two drown in DGK canal

DERA GHAZI KHAN, May 3: Two people drowned here on Wednesday in DGK canal in separate incidents while their bodies could not be recovered till the filling of this report.

Reports said an intermediate student, Umer Farooq, of Faridabad Colony went for picnic along with his two friends and drowned during swimming.

In another incident, labourer Murad of Karachi had come for work at Kacchi canal and drowned when his foot slipped during washing of his tractor.
