SAHIWAL, May 3: A proclaimed offender was killed in an alleged encounter with the police near Chak 3/14-L here on Wednesday. Kassowal police have registered a case while teams have been constituted to arrest the remaining accused.

ARRESTED: Police claimed to have arrested seven proclaimed offenders and eight absconders on Tuesday night during a general hold-up which was carried out on the orders of the DIG.
