DERA ISMAIL KHAN, May 3: Civil judge cum-judicial magistrate Fazlur Rehman Mehsud was found dead in his room at the circuit house early on Tuesday morning when his cook went to his room to serve breakfast. His body was carrying bullet wounds.

The cook informed the police about the incident and an FIR was registered.

The Cantonment police believes that the judge had committed suicide. But other judges staying at the circuit house doubted police’s statement, saying that he was not having any problem which could have forced him to commit suicide.

The deceased had come to the circuit house on Monday evening after spending two days of holiday in his village.

The deceased got engaged a week ago and his marriage was planned a few weeks later.
