Four members of Katcha area gang surrender

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Four members of the Lathani Gang of Katcha area surrendered before police on Thursday.

District Police Officer Rizwan Umar Gondal told a press conference that Ameen, Ghulam Nabi, Yasin and Nazir (Rs2.5m head money) surrendered, which was a great success of the police.

Gondal claimed that during the last short span of time, 22 dangerous dacoits were killed who were involved in the martyrdom of 12 policemen and many other heinous crimes.

He said the police were continuing intelligence-based targeted activities in the Katcha area to maintain law and order for the safety of people.
