Man shot dead

RAWALPINDI, May 1: A 23-year-old man was shot dead in Ganjmandi police area in the early hours of Monday, police said. Mohammad Zubair, a resident of Gulshanabad Mohallah, had an old dispute with Abdul Hameed and Bashir Shah. On Sunday night they had a brawl, but the issue was settled by the notables of the area. However, later, Abdul Hameed and Bashir Shah came on a car (IDM-6916) and started quarrelling with Zubair. While they were quarrelling, Abdul Hameed pulled out his pistol and shot and injured Zubair.

He was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital where he died early Monday morning.
