DADU: The Karachi-bound Allama Iqbal Express, which was coming from Lahore, met an accident near Kotri railway station on Saturday when its last coach separated from the train and derailed. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.

Railway authorities promptly launched operation to put the derailed coach back onto the tracks and repair the damaged section of the track, which had led to the accident.

Railway officials said the repairs work was expected to take about two to three hours to complete.
