Netanyahu to visit White House on Monday: senior US official

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to visit the White House on Monday, according to a senior US official, AFP reports.

The two countries are dealing with a set of extremely thorny issues, including US President Donald Trump’s shock imposition of 17 per cent tariffs on Israeli imports, an elusive search for a ceasefire in Gaza and mounting concern over Iran’s nuclear program.
