The Gaza health ministry has said 162 people were also wounded, bringing the death toll in the Gaza Strip to 1,309 since Israel resumed hostilities on March 18, Al Jazeera reports.
“The death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 50,669 martyrs and 115,225 wounded since October 7, 2023,” the ministry said.
