GUJRANWALA, April 29: The anti-terrorism court No 1 issued on Saturday show-cause notice to investigation DSP and a sub-inspector for not sending the case property to laboratory for analysis and ordered the Punjab IGP to take departmental action against both the officials.

Wazirabad Saddar police had arrested Zubair Ahmad for his involvement in terrorist activities. But the investigation officers did not send the case property to laboratory and produced the accused in court and requested to send him to jail. The judge expressed dismay over performance of police officers and issued notice. However, the court sent the accused to jail on judicial remand.
