Egypt makes new proposal to restore Gaza ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas

Egypt has made a new proposal last week aimed at restoring the Gaza ceasefire deal, security sources told Reuters.

The proposal suggested Hamas released five Israeli hostages each week, while Israel would start implementing the second phase of the ceasefire deal after the first week.
