Pakistan has condemned Israel’s attacks in Gaza and the West Bank, urging the international community to increase efforts to end Israeli “genocidal campaign” against Palestinians.

Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said, “Pakistan condemns Israel’s vicious attacks against the people of the West Bank and Gaza.”

He continued, “Israel’s air strikes and raids are flagrant violations of respective ceasefire agreements, international humanitarian law, United Nations charter, and hamper the confidence and faith in the global community and international law.”

FO spokesperson called for an “immediate cessation of hostilities in the West Bank and Gaza, protection of civilians, unrestricted access to humanitarian aid and assistance”.

He added, “We call on the international community to increase efforts to end the Israeli genocidal campaign against innocent people of Palestine. We call for accountability of Israeli crimes committed in this brutal war as a crucial step towards restoring international legitimacy.”
