LARKANA, April 27: Six students and a teacher were injured, with one student having suffered serious injuries, when the roof of a classroom in the Government Saint Joseph High School fell over them.

The teacher, Khalil Ahmed Detho, was conducting class when the roof collapsed. The injured students, Masood Ahmed, Hussain Bhurgri, Muhammed Bachal Khokhar, Saleem, Abdul Jabbar and Sajjad were rushed to Chandka Medical College Hospital. Masood’s condition was stated to be serious.

District Naib Nazim Munawar Abro and District Coordination Officer Ahmed Bakhsh Khokhar rushed to the school after the incident.

The DCO has ordered the EDO works and services to conduct probe into the incident and submit him a report within 24 hours.
