Bilal’s double sinks Lankans

ISLAMABAD, April 26: Mohammad Bilal scored twice in Pakistan's 3-0 victory over Sri Lanka in the AFC Festival of Football that concluded at the Jinnah Stadium on Wednesday.

It was Jameel who opened the scoring for the hosts in the 5th minute. He blasted two more goals in the 23rd and 51st minutes.

Pakistan suffered a setback later in the day when they lost to Nepal 1-0 in the last match of the championship.

Nirajan Malla scored for the winners.

Nepal also defeated Bhutan 6-0. Shiva, Ganesh, K. C. Sohail, Nirajan, Nirag and Sujal were the scorers.

In another match, Bangladesh defeated Bhutan 2-0. M. Jamal Hossain and M. Limon Chowdhury scored the goals.
