LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), April 26: Armed men killed two members of the Khasadar force and injured another in an ambush on a checkpost on the main Peshawar-Torkhum Road, near Sur Kamar, in Jamrud, Khyber Agency, on late Tuesday night.

Three members of the force, Jan Gul, his brother Zarmat and colleague Abdullah were fast asleep when they were shot by assailants. Jan and Zarmat were killed on the spot while Abdullah was seriously injured. He was admitted to a hospital in Peshawar.

Jamrud political authorities said that they had found a Kalashnikov but had not been able to determine the motive behind the attack.
