DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Sardar Qaizar Khan Miankhel, the divisional president of Pakistan Peoples Party, has been abducted along with his government-assigned gunman and a private employee.

The incident occurred on Monday when he was travelling in a white vehicle. Unknown individuals intercepted and took them away, leaving no trace behind.

Qaizar Khan is the brother of PPP MNA from NA-45 Fathullah Khan Miankhel, and the uncle of MPA Ihsanullah Miankhel from PK-115.

Belonging to a prominent political family in Dera, he is also a candidate for the presidency of the district bar association.

According to MPA Ihsanullah, Qaizar Khan’s mobile phone has remained switched off, adding to the concerns of his family and political associates.

He was returning from Garah Isa Khan area after attending his nephew’s funeral prayers when he mysteriously went missing.

The district bar association condemned the abduction of Sardar Qaizar Khan.

In a statement, the bar demanded the immediate and safe recovery of the PPP leader.
