Noa Argamani, a former captive who was rescued from Gaza last June, has called for the truce deal to continue for a second stage in order to secure the release of the remaining captives in the enclave, Al Jazeera reports.
“This deal right now is so important. It brings our loved ones back to us,” Argamani said at a synagogue in Washington, DC, The Times of Israel reported.
“My partner Avinatan Or is part of the second stage of this deal. We have to continue to the second stage and make sure all our loved ones return to us,” she said.
Argamani and three other captives were rescued from the Nuseirat refugee camp in an Israeli undercover operation, in which soldiers killed nearly 300 displaced Palestinians.
