Suspected robbers arrested

HARIPUR, April 24: Ghazi police have arrested two suspects and recovered Rs8,610 and 9000 afghanis, three mobile sets and two-pistol from them. The local court handed them over to police on two-day remand.

Speaking at a press conference here on Monday, Sub-division police officer Mohammad Hussain Khan said that a case of highway robbery on Ghazi Hamlat Road a few days ago had been registered. During the investigation, the head of the gang Hanif was apprehended. This was followed by the arrest of Hafeez, Mian Khan, Mahmood and Babur.

SDPO further said that the police had arrested two people for committing crimes in various places of the province.—APP
