A small group of former Palestinian detainees have disembarked a minibus that arrived in Ramallah, after their release from an Israeli jail as part of the sixth captives swap, Al Jazeera reports.

At least 24 of the 36 Palestinians released from Israeli jails will be sent to Egypt.

Eight others will return to the occupied West Bank and four in occupied East Jerusalem.

Gaza will see the return of 333 former detainees.
