Former Israeli national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has slammed Saturday’s slated release of three Israelis being held in Gaza, saying Israel should insist on Trump’s demand for Hamas to release all the captives this weekend, Al Jazeera reports.

“Israeli government, you have the full backing of the president of the world’s greatest power to demand all the kidnapped by Saturday at 12:00 — and you are satisfied with three?!” he posted on X.

“This is weakness that has no place! The time has come for action, not talk. If Hamas does not release everyone — light the fire of hell on them!”
