Eight of a family hurt in blast

KHAR (Bajaur Agency), April 23: Eight members of a family were wounded when a bomb went off outside their home in Inayat Kallay area on Sunday.

Witnesses said the bomb had been planted outside the main gate of the house of Bajaur Tajir Ittehad’s senior vice-president Haji Mohammad Zaman.

When Haji Zaman came out of the house he noticed that theground near the gate had been dug. He and members of his family were trying to find out what had been buried there when the explosion occurred, injuring a girl, three women and four men.

The injured were taken to a hospital, where the condition of three of them was critical.
