Israeli protesters block Jerusalem highway over ceasefire demands

A small crowd of protesters, including relatives of Israeli captives, are staging a demonstration on the highway running from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv, calling for the government to uphold the ceasefire deal, Al Jazeera reports.

Footage of the rally shared by Israel’s Army Radio shows the protesters shouting slogans and holding up a sign urging the government not to “abandon” the captives.
