A poll conducted by CBS has found that most people in the United States think US control of Gaza, a proposal made by Trump last week, is a “bad idea”, Al Jazeera reports.
Forty-seven per cent of those polled aren’t in favour of the US president’s plan, while only 13pc per cent think it is a “good idea”. Forty per cent of people responded that they were not sure, or that it depends.
Meanwhile, 54pc of those polled said they approved of Trump’s handling of the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
