LAHORE, April 22: Opener Mohammad Hafeez will be accompanying the Pakistan 'A' team for Euro-Asia Cup, despite the death of his father, the other day.

The team leaves for Abu Dhabi on Sunday morning to take part in the first edition of the Cup which started from Saturday.

Manager of the team, Shafiq Ahmed, said that Hafeez had confirmed his availability for the tour and there was no change in the already announced 14-member team.

Shafiq said that Sri Lanka and India were two tough teams but other teams like Holland could stage an upset since Pakistani players were not familiar of their strength.

Shafiq, however, said chances of Pakistan's win were bright and the boys would exhibit their true potential to bring laurels.

He said that all players were fit.

Hasan Raza is the captain of the team.

Pakistan will play opener against Holland on Tuesday.

Team:

Hasan Raza (captain), Yasir Hameed, Taufiq Umar, Mohammad Hafeez, Bazid Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Yousaf, Mansoor Amjad, Zulqarnain Hyder (wicketkeeper), Tahir Khan, Umar Gul, Muhammad Irshad, Yasir Arafat, Sami Ullah Niazi.
