KHUZDAR: Four people were killed and five others injured in an accident on the Quetta-Karachi National High­way in the Surab area on Wednesday.

Police officials said that three vehicles collided with each other in the Naghar area of Surab district, leaving four people dead and five others seriously injured.

Police reached the spot after the incident and took the bodies of the victims and the injured to Surab district hospital.

In another accident, a person was killed and another injured when a pick-up overturned in the Gwargo area of Panjgur district on CPEC highway.

Levies officials said that the pickup overturned due to overspeeding, killing the driver who was identified as Muhammad Jan. The injured was taken to Panjgur district hospital.
