Jordan’s king to meet US president next week

Jordanian state media is reporting that King Abdullah will meet US President Donald Trump on February 11 at the White House, Al Jazeera reports.

The announcement comes a day after foreign ministers of five Arab countries, including Jordan, issued a joint statement rejecting the forced displacement of Palestinians from their land, following Trump’s call for Egypt and Jordan to take in Palestinians from Gaza.
