Israeli occupation forces seized a new home in the Jenin refugee camp, converting it into a military outpost, as part of an ongoing offensive in the camp that has been going on for 12 days, Wafa reports.

According to local sources, Israeli troops raided a house in the western area of the camp and transformed it into a base for their attacks.

The raid follows a tragic incident earlier today, in which 73-year-old Walid Lahlouh was shot and killed by Israeli forces in the Jenin camp. Lahlouh was attempting to return to his home at the camp’s entrance to check on it and retrieve some personal belongings when he was struck by gunfire.

The ongoing Israeli offensive in Jenin and the refugee camp has been devastating, with nearly 100 homes completely demolished over the past 13 days of continuous assault. Additionally, several other homes have been set on fire.
