An elderly Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces this morning in the Jenin refugee camp, Wafa reports according to local and medical sources.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its emergency teams transported the body of 73-year-old Walid Lahlouh from the entrance of the camp to the hospital following the deadly shooting by Israeli soldiers.

This brings the total number of Palestinians killed since the start of the wide-scale Israeli onslaught on Jenin to 25 since the offensive began 13 days ago.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces continue to reinforce their military presence in Jenin city and its refugee camp, with additional troops arriving from multiple directions. The demolition of homes in various parts of the camp also remains ongoing.
