TOBA TEK SINGH: Four students were injured after their school van overturned near Government Degree College for Boys at Garh Mor, Jhang, on Friday.

The injured children identified as Saira Musarrat, 14, Rehan Ijaz, 7, Rubab Parveen, 13, and Nayyar Abbas, 11, were given first aid by rescuers.

KILLED: A labourer was killed and a shopkeeper was injured when a concrete shed of a shop fell on them near a filling station on Faisalabad Road at Jhang on Thursday night.

Reports said due to ongoing anti-encroachment drive, the shed of a shop was being dismantled when suddenly it collapsed. As a result, labourer Ramzan, 38, died instantly while shopkeeper Qasim, 25, was seriously injured.

The injured man was shifted to DHQ Hospital.

CRUSHED: A tractor-trolley driver was crushed to death by a vehicle on Rajana-Kamalia Road on Thursday night.

Reports said Ahmad Yar, 50, was waiting for his turn outside Kamalia Sugar Mills when he was run over by a vehicle.

He died instantly.
