SIALKOT, April 21: The 68th death anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal was observed here on Friday. Quran khwani was held at Iqbal Manzil, the birth place of the poet of the East. Present on the occasion were scores of people from all walks of life, who also offered fateha for the poet.

Visitors also expressed grave concern over the dilapidated condition of the Iqbal Manzil, particularly from the rear side of the building.

A large number of people also visited the Imam Sahib graveyard and laid floral wreaths, besides offering fateha for the parents and other family members of Allama Iqbal.
