RAWALPINDI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has established a new ‘seat shop’ at the PIA engineering hanger in line with the modern requirements.

A spokesman for PIA said that the inauguration of the new seat shop is an addition of a modern facility at the engineering hangar.

PIA’s CEO, Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat inaugurated the new seat shop at the PIA engineering hanger.

The interior renovation of aircraft at the seat shop aligns with modern requirements, said the spokesman.

The new seat shop has been established adjacent to a hangar, enabling more efficient renovation and refurbished of aircraft. He also added that shop would offer engineering workers a convenient and improved working environment.

Amir Hayat visited Engineering and interacted with the workers and encouraged them. A cake was cut at the ceremony.

The CEO was accompanied by Chief Operating Officer Khurram Mushtaq, Chief Engineering Officer Aamir Ali and other senior officials.
