Apftu pledges support for Kashmiris

LAHORE, Feb 5: The All-Pakistan Federation of Trade Unions on Tuesday pledged on behalf of the working class to extend full support to the freedom struggle of Kashmiris against Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.

Trade unionists and workers at a meeting held to express solidarity with the Kashmiris condemned the acts of brutality being perpetrated by Indian forces, and said these would not dampen the spirit of innocent Kashmiris to get rid of Indian clutches.

Speakers, including APFTU leaders Amin Rathore, Khurshid Ahmad, Kokab Iqbal, Osama Tariq and Badarul Islam Abdali, urged all freedom-loving nations of the world, the working people and the United Nations, to play their role and impress upon the Indian warlords to desist from their nefarious activities against Pakistan and the people of held Kashmir. —Reporter
