Palestinians waiting on the streets, seeking to return home to north Gaza, broke out into celebrations after learning they would be allowed to cross the so-called Netzarim corridor, according to a video posted online.
The footage, verified by Al Jazeera, shows Palestinians gathered on al-Rashid Street clapping, chanting and cheering.
