Israel and Hamas have continued to trade blame about alleged violations of the ceasefire agreement, Al Jazeera reports.
“During the execution of the second phase of the swap yesterday, Hamas committed two violations. Arbel Yehoud, a civilian hostage who was scheduled for release on Saturday, has not been freed, and the detailed list of all hostages’ statuses has not been provided,” said a statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.
For its part, Hamas accused Israel of delaying the implementation of the ceasefire terms by stopping Palestinians from returning to Gaza’s besieged north.
