Israeli occupation forces have significantly escalated their restrictions on movement around the city of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, Wafa reports according to local sources.

Witnesses reported that the Israeli army closed the Birzeit-Attara gate, the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh, and the Nabi Saleh gate to the northwest.

Additionally, heightened restrictions have been enforced at the Ein Sinya checkpoint, located to the north of the city, where residents have faced rigorous and time-consuming searches, resulting in severe traffic jams for those trying to leave the city.
