PAF aircraft crashes in Karachi

KARACHI, April 20: A Pakistan Air Force Mirage aircraft crashed near the PAF Base Masroor on Thursday morning. According to a PAF announcement, the aircraft was on a routine operational training mission.

However, both pilots of the aircraft ejected safely, the PAF said adding that no loss of life or property had been reported on ground.

According to the PAF, the crash apparently occurred due to technical malfunction.

A board of inquiry has been ordered by the Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the accident.—APP
