Trump Middle East envoy to visit Israel, Saudi Arabia next week: report

Steve Witkoff, President Trump’s envoy to the Middle East, is set to visit Israel next week after first making a stop in Saudi Arabia, Al Jazeera reports, according to Israel’s Channel 12 news.

The report said Witkoff’s trip to Israel will focus on negotiating the second phase of the captive and ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, the first phase of which came into force on Sunday.
