FOG-RELATED ACCIDENTS: Even with dense fog in the environment, drivers often neglect safety precautions, such as reducing speed or maintaining safe distances between vehicles. Additionally, the absence of effective traffic management systems and emergency response units exacerbates the consequences of such accidents. To overcome this menace, public awareness campaigns must emphasise the dangers of driving in dense fog and promote responsible behaviour to mitigate the rapidly growing risk of accidents. The authorities should prioritise equipping roads with advanced fog detection and warning systems. Police must strictly enforce traffic laws, especially during foggy conditions, to prevent reckless driving and avoidable tragedies.

DEPRIVED VILLAGE: The village of Kulaho does not have a high school for girls which is a great hassle for the students as well as their parents. Many families in this underprivileged area are worried about their children’s education, particu-larly of their daughters. The government should take immediate action in this regard and provide the people with a high school for girls in Kulaho. It is important to provide a protective and appropriate space for learning to girls.

STARLINK IN PAKISTAN: The sat-ellite service Starlink is said to be plann-ing to launch internet services in Pakistan. As millions of Pakistanis lack a stable internet connection, primarily in rural areas, this initiative offers potential for improving internet access across the country. However, for such a rapid rollout to be successful, there are challenges pertaining to regulatory approval and satellite interferences that need to be addressed first. All such issues must be addressed quickly so that the service may roll out effectively. The government has to fasttrack the provision of approval, and create an enabling environment for such advancements.
