Israeli occupation authorities began construction of a new settler road in the lands of the village of Al-Jabaa, southeast of Bethlehem, Wafa reports.

Diab Mashaalah, head of the Al-Jabaa Village Council, reported that Israeli bulldozers started working on the road from the western side of the village, which will extend to the neighboring village of Wadi Fukin and end in the village of Husan, in accordance with the Israeli plan. The road will stretch over a distance of 5 kilometers.

Mashaalah added that this measure will result in the seizure of hundreds of dunums of agricultural land and will prevent farmers from accessing their lands located to the west of the settler road under construction.
